that expensive website is such BS. life time guarantee? who needs it. A spray to apply the skin? useless.

I got a skin off the cheaper site for my SLVR L7, and it was a breeze to put on. Its my fault i got a piece of dust stuck on the back (haha) but the instructions warn you about that, and say to use a steamy bathroom or something.

all you need to do is dip the skin in water, not your device, and you only need a little water.

as far as the guarantee is concerned, you still have to pay for shipping to send them back your defective one, and again to get the new one. when all is said and done, I could buy 3 more off the cheap site and still have money left over

Works great on my Zen Vision: M. Water didn't do a thing. I would be more apprehensive to do the water/soap thing on a PDA though.

The top screen of the DS Phat has a bigger border it seems. The screen protectors are too big for the DS Lite.

You only use a very small amount of soap so its mostly just a water solution. I've read about some people applying these with Windex instead of the soap/water solution, apparently with good results and they say an easier application process but that seemed risky to me.

I think the important thing is the make sure you don't turn the device on for at least 24 hours afterwards like they suggest so that anything that may have seeped inside dries off.

I dont think it would. Well maybe everything except the screen cuz the l6 screen is smaller than the l7, but maybe it still has the same outer shap as the l7. You can always try and if it dont work then cut to to fit
