I've never understood people worried so much about a scratch here and there on little electronic devices. Who cares? If the thing were to ever get really scuffed up it's so old you don't even care about it any more.
I've got a 2 year old zen micro that I haven't put any "protection" on and it looks the same as the day I got it, and I've never even used a special case to store it.
Ahh consumer paranoia...

I'm afraid to put something wet on my Axim. I don't think it is waterproof.

Put a big scratch onto your CRT. Turn it on. You won't see it.

I just got my skins today. Ordered last Thursday I think it was...
I applied the one for my new Samsung A900 cell phone and it looks pretty good. I also got one for my Nano... (I got the 1 peice one.. I thought from the description it might only cover the front, but, it looks like there is a rear peice also!). I ordered 2 of the "custom size" sheets just in case, but, I will use those for something else!
I would definitely recommend them to others...
The install process is a bit of a pain, but, it looks like they will stay "applied" over the long term which is good. I am leaving my cell phone off for the rest of the day just to make sure any water that might have seeped in gets a chance to dry (actually, I will probably be paranoid and leaving it off without any battery until tomorrow morning.. haha)

as i had mentioned earlier in this thread (and as promised by the prez of BSE), the DS Lite that so many have been waiting for is shipping!
check out this link for more info:
http://www.bestskinsever.com/servlet...e-Total/Detail
and before anyone says anything about the red skin, read the details page .. because it's shown this way to indicate where the skin is protecting .. the skin itself is not red ... it's clear ..
EDIT:: I've already placed an order for mine

WTF are you talking about? I have a small 1" scratch on my 19" CRT monitor from when I was moving, and I can DEFINITELY see it. Turning it on makes it even more noticeable...

how is the clickwheel after applying the one-piece to the nano?
the clickwheel is a little bit recessed from the face of the nano right? so would it leave a bubble above the wheel if i applied the one piece?
