Beware...scammer!!! - eightss

I’d like to report a fraudulent event that I fell victim to the other night. I sell shoes in RedFlagDeals.com and as a long time member of this forum, I have never before experienced this. Routinely, I meet up with the person, and usually have a little small talk here and there before handling the deal. I usually show the product first, in this case shoes, and make sure that the person is satisfied with what they want. After transacting, I make sure the customer has given the full paid price before we part ways.

In this event however, it was unusual. His name was Abdi, his skin colour was brown and he looked of Indian or middle-eastern descent. We met up at Islington station where I ended up standing across him from a gate that separated us. He told me he was in a hurry, that his job was at 7 o’clock and he had to go. So I cut the small talk and got down to business. I made him see the shoes and we traded. He gave me the money stashed in an envelope that had my asking price of $360 written on it. Just at this moment, he told me that he really had to go. I told him to stay put so I can make sure he gave me the right amount, but as I started counting the money, he grabbed the shoes and ran off. After counting I felt furious; he was short $80 dollars.

I’m not sure what options I have right now, but all I have is his RFD username – “eightss” and his phone number where he no longer replies to my messages and calls. I’m very disheartened by this event and I really just want some justice.

yeah, i still have his phone number...He said his name was Abdi.
I think even thats a lie.

He said he works at Noise downtown...and he was going to be late for work.
It was fully almost 7pm when this happened.
Who starts work that late?

I've sent a report to anti fraud centre.

I just need his IP address...

I know I won't get my money back.

I just dont want this to happen to anyone else...
Thats why im doing this.

I've been with RFD for a while now and I want them to have a reputation that is safe for everyone!

Yeah It's still a lost definitely but at least you didn't lose THAT much.
There are scammers that do much worse.

The ads seemed similar I guess...apparel and typed in all CAPS
