We made an agreement for me to purchase z5500 on this thread http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/s...73#post8018173 for $175.00 he said we will meet at 2pm est on thursday new years day but never called me or nothing. We were suppose to meet in hamilton on hwy 6 that afternoon but 2pm flys past 3pm and so on then at 5pm i called him to ask what the hect is going on.

His response was oh im sorry but i have car trouble lol but never called to tell me wtf was going on

Then i get a message on friday saying i willg et back to you asap tomorrow which he never did this is just a warning to all rfd users i will update this post later on sinse i gotta go to work now

i did get back to you.

your responce "i cant drive to get them, lets meet half way" - which i agreed to. but then you said you couldn't meet till POSSIBLY sunday.

then that same day, you said "ship them"..

so not only did you *** me down in price - you then wanted me to pay for shipping ontop of that. and i quote "it'll only be $20ish" you said you'd send me your shipping info that night. which you didn't. there's no way those heavy ass mammoth speakers would cost less than $20 to ship, and since you already got me down in price on them - i told you i wouldn't ship them as i wasnt interested in them possibly getting damaged, AND losing more $ ontop of the price you got me down to.

and i told you, first come first serve. i wasnt holding them for anyone. any time i've held anything for anyone, i got screwed. I don't know you, i sure as hell wouldn't set my speakers aside for someone I don't know. first come first serve.

and i sure as hell wouldn't ship them - and i told you that.

he then said he had no time for the next while and wanted me to ship. to which i refused. it's my right to not want to ship. i found a buyer locally.

never did he endup wating at a tim hortons for hours or something. in reality, he was not inconvienenced or did he even lose a dime. he's just mad he lost out.

I think the point is when you knew you could not make the 2 pm meeting you should have called by 2:15 pm -- not any later. We all know sh*t happens, but your lack of consideration for the person waiting for you at the other end is why you're at fault. If I am scheduled to meet someone, I will call them at the scheduled meeting time if I am going to be more than 5-10 minutes late.

Personally, I think you probably got another offer for more money from somebody else closer and decided not to show up.

You screwed up and inconvenienced a fellow RFDer. Instead of being a J@ck @ss and calling him names, just apologize, make a REAL effort to make things right, or just walk away.
