I have been seeing Juicers everywhere this year. But most of them are $200+. I am not sure how good this brand is but the price is $10 cheaper than Walmart.
Nice deal IMO. I am going to get one to see if it works good.

Reviews are all over the place, lots of complaints about things breaking and such. Better to save up and buy better quality one, there is a reason why this one is priced as low as it is. Also, think long and hard about whether you'll use it, because this appliance is notorious for going unused (people do use these regularly, but it's definitely the minority).

These go unused because they are such a pain to clean. It's simply not worth the time.
Plus the juice isn't especially healthy. Sure, there's no added sugar (so it's far, far better than store-bought real fruit/veggie juice), but without the fibre the glycemic index is very high - which is a very bad thing (unless you want diabetes).

We make veggies juice everyday at home. My wife is being cured of her allergies by drinking carrot juice with granny Smith apples(not a lot of sugar), ginger, lime, etc. Juices get quickly absorbed by your body, meaning they don't go through the process of normal digestion, so you get the full nutrients from the fruit/veggie. You speak of high glycemic index but a friend of mine is managing her diabetes with juices from veggies. There is no comparison between a juice like this and the other junk food that is sold in N.A. I've never heard anybody say anything bad about going the juice way, this is the first time... Guess there is always a first time for everything.
The juice you buy at the supermarket is no longer juice because it has been stripped away of all of the nutrients, in the industrialization process and that is true for all the other supermarket food, except for the basics: fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, grains, etc... Even the Yogurt today is no longer yogurt. Corn starch in Yogurt? Give me a break...

Freshly made juice is most beneficial within the first 20 minutes after it is made. After that time frame, oxidation takes over ind the quality, nutrients, etc, starts to degrade.

I bought it last week at amazon.ca for $30. I thought it's a regular price. For 50, the magic bullet set at Costco seems to be a better deal.
