Bing.com 15% Cashback for americans
i have noticed a lot of deals in the states lately that include big savings with Bing.com's 15% cashback. However, it says that you need to be American for this discount.
If I order something to a shipping outlet in the states and bing.com sends the refund cheque to the same place, how would they know if I'm american or not? I just don;'t want to order something and then get stuck without the bing.com refund cheque....

search for "tigerdirect" on bind.com and the first site is 15% cashback from tigerdirect.com.
I had to use a US proxy to ensure that the first site was tigerdirect.com and not tigerdirect.ca...

Don't hold your breath. It was the same with the Live service before.
Microsoft has always been very generous to U.S. people with their promotions. Until recently, there was a site called Club Live but it has been renamed to Club Bing.
People are bragging on the US deal hunting sites about the *slew* of stuff they're earning through that site, like multiple Zunes, Vista Ultimate and Office that they promptly return to Wal*Mart for hundreds of bucks, keyboards and stuff.

Yeah, I'm jealous.

Yeah, I'm jealous.
You can take advantage of all of these deals, all you need is a US mailbox.
I have gotten hundreds of dollars back from Microsoft via things purchased on eBay during Live cash back promotions.

You and me both. Here is a picture someone took after receiving their prizes from Club Bing.

Ouf, there is a lot of prizes in there, and I've seen similar pictures too. I think there is unfortunately a minority of people who are greedily abusing the system with multiple accounts. I don't have a clue how Club Live/Bing has been able to sustain this for over a year now.
I'd be quite content with just one Xbox360 and one Zune.
Note: I thought about the US mailbox thing (Club Bing doesn't ship to PO box). I used to know someone in the US during the Dot com freebie craze where I got thousands of dollars in free stuff but I lost touch. Besides, I wouldn't want to be hit with duties.

Reason: Removing the picture.

I know this is an old thread, but i'm interested in using the Bing 25% cashback on HP.com. I just found out that it is still active. if I get the product from HP US, shipped to an amerifriend, and put his address in, pay with American currency credit card, will I get the cashback even though my Paypal is Canadian?
