"STEAK" Modern Steakhouse Lounge in Ottawa offers a birthday freebie, here's the email I got:

"To celebrate your birthday we would be pleased to offer you one main course free of charge when you present this certificate (or quote the 'birthday serial #' found on the bottom right corner on your online registration) on any given day during the month of your birthday."

However, the coupon can only be redeemed when dining with 3 or more people.

What a Bagel was closed on my husbands birthday so he went the next day and they gave him his free dozen bagels. You might want to check with other places because they might do the same.

At least most of you get a birthday every year. I only get one every four years and the only promotion I've seen is the West Jet one where they expect you to fly somewhere on your birthday!
