i don't know about that, but i just got a GE from wal-mart for $39.99. 450 watts of power with 14 speeds. i think it's pretty nice. so the extra $10 is towards the little tin cup and an extra 25 watts of power i guess. plus, at wal-mart, you could get something then bring it back after a while, even if you don't have a receipt, they'll give you store credit.

Nah man!
I cook alot.

Either buy a blender from walmart you really cant beat the return policy or get the one from home depot.
The depot price is actually less in store around $40.00 it goes on sale every 3 weeks or so.
Braun and them so called big names cant test i've used them all and they all fail.
mind you my Oster in Trinidad is 30 years and still kicking arouund.

Never really liked Black & Decker stuff. Not rugged enough and too easy to bust.

Doubly frustrating because you've got it burned in your head what you're gonna DO with the thing and you end up sitting there with your job not done and a pile of plastic rubble that used to be your tool or applicance.

Never buy toy tools. Get something decent.

ive had a B&D firestorm 9.6v drill for a long time
had done lots of projects with it
made a table with it, drilled aluminum, metal door frames, and countless holes and screws

i trust it

just not sure about the blender
hehe

btw trini, i thought your oster is only 20 years old

walmart doesnt have a lot of selections
and new oster ive heard suck at ice crushing
