...was going to pickup the corsair 120G at the mississauga NCIX - the store was dead looking from the outside, but they were lining people up around the corner and holding them there. Wasn't going to wait over my lunch hour and find out they sold all 14 of them before I got in the store. I can wait until boxing day.

Boycott the Canadian Tire located at 403 & Dundas for it's clueless automotive department, poor service and lack of commonly stocked items.

Tigerdirect.ca has some good prices today on OCZs if you're not afraid of the brand.
Vertex 3 120GB $50 (sold out online)
Agility 4 256GB $110 After $10 rebate
Solid 3 480GB $250 (this drive is one of their slower ones though; 10-20% slower than the Vertex/Agility, but still much faster than a traditional platter hard disk, and probably the cheapest per GB at this size)
Just remember to flash the latest firmware before using!

After reading up a bit on current batch of SSDs on Anandtech, the only one I'd readily pickup would be a Samsung 830/840 series. Haven't seen any specials on them (looking for a 120GB drive myself).

In terms of reliability, some of the better mid size SSD deals today were Samsung 830 256 GB for $149.99 at ME. Ended up Grabbing the last intel 330 240gb at TD Etobicoke for $129.99 after $30 MIR this morning. Could have gotten a second one by ordering online but decided against it.
