Cold deal. This is just an extra device for you to connect to your stereo.

1) Most cars have already bluetooth built in. You can automatically connect to it when you are inside the car.
2) NFC is still not available for Iphone users
3) it just doesn't seem useful at all.

1) Most (maybe 2011+) cars have now bluetooth but they don't have all A2DP.

For 30$ it's a cheap upgrade that fits most car since most audio unit have an AUX input.

2) NFC not available to iphone? Is that a problem for this unit. Change your phone if you want NFC...

Odd all my blackberry devices dating back had NFC. You think Apple is behind the times a bit?

I love my iPhone. I wish they would implement NFC. Blackberry barely works for most part.

Only thing I can see what would be a better deal was the Blackberry Bluetooth Speaker at The Source... It wasn't NFC, but was a speaker/Mic combo that could be used as a gateway as well.... Very happy with mine. It was the same price as this though.

People might want to consider the Blackberry Mini Stereo Speaker. It's a bluetooth speaker, can be used for hands free calling and also streams music.
I picked one up on sale at TS for around $30 awhile ago.

Beat me to it, Stabilo :D

It's not that NFC isn't available for iphone, Apple has always refused to implement NFC.

It is unlikely that Apple will ever support NFC. Apple takes a 30% cut of everything sold via itunes.

Merchants already complain about paying 1-3% to credit card companies to accept credit cards. Merchants aren't going to pay 30% to Apple.

I guess u guys don't really know what you guys are talking about.

Aux cable is just less than $2 at a dollar store.
If your car doesnt support bluetooth then you don't need this. U can just connect your phone through aux.
IF you want to waste money on this thing, then yeah go for it. Buy it.

FYI I used Androids and IPhone. Not just one phone :)

As long as the device playing the file can, it will play via the BB Music Gateway.
I have two of these, one at home for my sound bar and another the vehicle without bluetooth. I use it for A2DP only.
