On my 8320 you can.
Not sure why you want to though, BBs as a PDA are terrible in comparison with the other platforms.

Blackberry as a PDA?
Hey guys
Is it possible to use a Blackberry as a PDA only (Without cell service)? Will it allow me to access the programs without a SIM card?
Thanks

Indeed. Snag a Palm TX for cheap. Many more apps available for free. BBs make lousy PDAs beyond the organizer functions. Even a WM device has a better selection of apps.
