I was in a Zellers a couple of weeks ago and saw Sony-labelled -R and +R cakes for $19.99.

I ordered from Sourcerite and got 100 Taiyo yuden for 24.99. Taiyo Yudens are one of my preferred brands for DVDr - never had issues with quality with them unlike memorex, and other off brands.

I looked on NCIX and do not see the product you are talking about.
SourceRite seems to have a lot more selection.
I personally like these discs.

I'm 100% sure it was 100x Sony for $19.99, although I didn't buy any. Perhaps the make depends on the specific store's inventory and/or Sony private labels Maxell.
