Blue Planet 40W solar panel - any good?
Canadian Tire has this for $150 now:

It is any good? I know is not as good as the mono crystalline panels ...
I know some models have plastic frames that users complain that they crack, but not much info from the Canadian Tire reviews. These seem to be made by Sunforce, but I can't find any info on their site.
I'll be mainly using on a as need basis to charge devices when out at the cabin, etc.

It's probably fine for what you will use it for. The big panels really aren't designed for small charging jobs.

if you look at the reviews on the CT website (for some of the other blue planet panels)... they tend to put out 50% of what they are rated for. Better off getting a real panel... (Sharp, Canadian Solar, etc) and connecting it to one of these

Cheaper... and you might actually get some support from these guys.

May be it’s good. Mostly the price is very attractive.
