BMO -- GIC - Getting OUT.

HI. I have a 3 year GIC, set to mature march 1.
It states it will be automatically reinvested if not notified, at least 20 days before.

Just want opinions, if i can get out, or get stuck for another 1.

It will usually re-invest with the same product so another 3 years. Talk to them now, you can probably still set it to payout after March 1.

You can definitely get out of it if you notify them on or before the renewal date (provided we're talking about a regular GIC, not some special product).
