BMO Mastercard/Chequing/Mortgage-Airmiles

Hi, I have recently just switched to BMO on new mortgage, chequing account ,mosaik credit card and LOC. I have never used airmiles in the past and they are offering it with all products. I have heard alot of complaints about airmiles. Should I be looking into another style rewards or is this combo pack really a good thing to utilize? I definitely want to start and use a credit card to gain rewards, just not sure if this the best way. thanks for any thoughts. Cheers.

BMO has Air Miles, CIBC has Aeroplan miles.
