Autohaus does not like to play ball much.

Not a CPO car (with extended warranty). Asking is not outrageous ... I would say fair would be $41,500 + taxes + license. Due diligence still needs to be done (PPI from your own mechanic)
holy....... sure its a f30 335i, but thats way too much imo...... using mine from serpa as the reference, we paid 47k OTR (close to 41600 before taxes) with taxes for a x1 "demo" with 37km, not 37000. 47k minus 1k gas card too and 3 years 9 month warranty left. i know x1 is pretty much a e90/e91 and not a fair comparison...... some options i do have on that is comfort access and hid/bi xenon........ not good value for a f30 with more km. what is the odo on that f30 335i????

Totally different comparison. That's not a regular 335i. It's M Performance Edition limited to 200 cars. It also had a $65k list price. The new X1 is based on the 2 series/mini platform now with considerable cost cutting I find.

It's not a bad deal as you have CPO warranty and save over $20k in depreciation. My friend got a 2015 M Performance Edition demo car with 3k kms for $52k for reference.

Seeing a lot of these cars being traded back in. Rep told me the people buying this car realize it's not worth the $65k price when they can get M4 for not much more.

That car is really 3 yrs old and with 60,000km on the clock , wholesale would be around $37,000 and with no extended warranty (just the remaining orig warranty) and tag on around $4,500 markup, that would be fair. Mind you, at 60,000km, car will certainly need expensive wearable items (if they have not been changed out) which would be a few thousand $ on top of the eventual price

They make this so called limited edition every year since 2014, if I am not mistaken.

The MY2017 is available now for around $70k + taxes + fees. Throw in some special Color and a few add on ... Bam ! <150 available this yr

id like to say the non-limited edition x1 35i is probably less common than the f30/f32 335i/435i m performance edition

They overcharge people by $5-10k for the privilege. Not worth it IMO. Just get a M4 instead.

E84 was a good platform and I liked it. No one else sold a 300hp SAV at that size and price. Too bad they dumbed it down for the current gen to cater to the haters. Only comes with a 228hp engine, FWD based system.

^ call up BMW Canada and tell them your VIN # and they can look it up for you if your car is subject for recall. After all, there may be situation that not the entire production for the said model year is being recalled; it may be based on production month and production facility

It happened couple of times to me too. The recall was posted up for my model year but my VIN was not affected due to different production week.

The new X1 has been the best selling X1. The old X1 had a cheap looking interior and wasn't very popular, not to mention the fit and finish was poor.

can anyone recommend a good bmw mechanic for a 2012 bmw x1 e84? I just one with 100,000 kms want to take it for some tuning and coolant flush.
