What's the deadline for the airbag recall?
Had to replace the dam water pump on a x5 with only 35000km...brutal and had to pay a deductible
Why is that not on recall?

No deadline. Did you have yours inspected by dealer ? If yes, then dealer is the only one can tell you. If no, did you get a recall letter from BMW ?

Water pump failure is not considered a safety item so no recall.

Pick your dealer and pick your series. No m cars.

I am testing out the new 5 @ maranello 5/27

Only couple of upcoming date still open @gta dealers

It's likely be just 30 mins test drive .

Btw, have you taken out your p car out to the track yet ?

Thanks.

Haven't gone on track yet. I need to pin the coolant hoses first and unfortunately that will require engine out and if I'm doing that I might as well do a the gaurd diff upgrade and RS flywheel right?!?!?

I've got my eyes on a new watch... priorities lol

A rfder recently got his X1 for 7% off and no bogus fees, with a bit of going back & forth as dealer was kind of resisting of having those bogus fees removed as dealer calls them 'mandatory' in which they are really not.

I would start negotiating now, especially if you’re in Ontario. BMW sells a lot of cars around this time because its towards the end of the model year, the later you go the less choice you have. I have someone you can work with if you’re located in Toronto.

me ? I bk for 3pm @ Maranello. Just want to see how the new 5 drives. Not buying one as I have just ordered another euro brand car for fall delivery.

If it was anything like last time I did this (about 5 yrs ago), it was just a ordinary test drive up on the 400, get off on Mj Mac and back down on 400 and back to dealer. After that, just fill out a simple survey about timeline on the next car purchase or leasing, etc and dealer gave some small gifts (mug, pen, cheapo key chain). No credit voucher for the test drive.

From my experience with this test drive event with 2 different dealers (T+C and Parkview), after you fill the survey you get a TileMate bluetooth keychain finder. They put a custom sleeve over the TileMate packaging with your name and the date of your test drive and you get 60 days to use the sleeve as a credit on your vehicle purchase. The credit amounts are printed on the sleeve.
