$25, I think. "Highway robbery"

Go to Maranello parts and ask for a discount. But then the service guy would have to find out what lock # you have first.
Totally agree, highway robbery

I had to change my license sticker and the screw was rusted, I couldn't unscrew it so I had to end up ripping my license plate rubber holder thing, called the dealer and they wanted $62 plus $10 for the set of screws and that is before tax, it's just a piece of plastic, end up ordering one of eBay including the screws for like $25

Hi booble,

I was wondering what you think of this deal on a 2013 BMW x3 xDrive28i CPO for $24000+tax.
- 60000km
- Premium package
- navigation
- one owner, no accidents
- option for 2 yr extended warranty for around $1700 more

How do you think the resale value will be affected in 2-3 years with new generation of X3s coming for MY2018?

Thank you for your help

How's the mileage on an X5 diesel?

Is it practical as a 7 passenger SUV?
I have one, when the two seats are up in the back, cargo is cut in the trunk by 3/4. And you'll have to find a place to put the privacy shield. its designed to fit small children or short adults. It's not comfortable for anyone 5'6" and taller. Your second row passengers also will have to move the bench closer to the front seats so their comfort is also reduced.

But hey at least you'll get a passive air ride suspension in the rear.

Oh and also the hidden trunk compartment is also reduced by half the volume, so if you're smuggling drugs less drugs for you.

Got a nice stone chip, size of a nickel/quarter with spider legs, on the front windshield. The vehicle is leased with lease guard. I would like to fill it if possible but it'll likely still have the spider legs after the fill. Will my lease guard cover a windshield that has been filled, and with tiny spider leg cracks around the chip?
Few options.

1. You leave it, it may or may not get bigger. If it does it may not be covered under the warranty. You also might get pulled over if a cop sees it and wants to pull you over for it.

2. You fill it and again hope it doesn't get bigger.

3. You replace the windshield and hope you don't get another chip.

If you get it for $21,500 - $22,000 + taxes, then it is a fair deal. As for resale down the road, the first owner has already taken the typical bulk of the depreciation and if you keep the vehicle for 3 yrs, I would think you may be looking at $13,500 range. In other words, you would be looking at $8,000 depreciation over the next 3 yrs of ownership (assuming you got it for $21,500).

As for extended warranty, if this is factory extended warranty for $1700 + taxes, then it would be a good idea to have it. Try to negotiate for $200 off.

Can anyone recommend a place to buy cabin filters for E92 M3 other than the dealer?

I went to germanparts.ca and they want $118.45 CAD for a set - is that the going rate? Neutral Face

Thanks, I'll give it a go.

I'm tempted just to do it RFD style and take out the filters, vacuum up the dirt and debris and reuse the same ones. :D

LOL. Please don't do that.

The other alternative is to call up Maranello and ask for the Maxbimmer discount and see how much they want
