There a 12 month trial? I've never had XM in my cars.

For owners that got a new BMW, did you have any issues with the 12 month SiriusXM free trial? Did you have to contact SiriusXM yourself to have it enabled? Mine ran out 35 days after taking ownership and the dealer is not helping and playing dumb.
My subscription was lost after 3 months because I was coding the car with Bimmercode. I contacted SiriusXM using their web chat. You provide your VIN number, they setup an account with the subscription info (1 year), and after logging in, you get a link to send the activation signal to your car. After you turn your car on and flip it to XM radio, it will activate the subscription after 5-10mins. The guy was nice enough to set the expiration 1 year from the chat date, so it was 1 year + 3 free months for me.

Yes, the dealer activates the SiriusXM temporarily but you need to call into Sirius to start your free 12 month trial and get activated. It gets you the Select+ plan which enables the receiver in your car and streaming online. If you have a Roku , Sirius has an app and you can stream that way as well.

This process is poorly documented and my dealer did not say anything at delivery. You can see the instructions online if you register your car on bmw.ca.

Strange... I called SXM and they wanted my CC and to charge me 15.95/month. Guess I will try again.

Master warning light - could be anything from light bulb out, low battery, low fluid , etc. The objective is to have your car checked out soon

Use the "BC" button to cycle thru to see the warning message is related to

If so, then open hood and check the brake fluid level to confirm

I think what you are talking about is a service reminder for brake fluid service as opposed to low brake fluid. Yellow means soon and red overdue I believe. When was the last time you had it done?
Remember when you liked what you currently have

Has anyone ordered a 2018 3 series? I'm interested to see what deals people are getting. BMW seems slow to update their Canadian config..too much inventory maybe.

Probably 6% but no factory credits and probably a higher interest rate like 2.9

Customized and ordered a 2018 X1 last week. Does anyone know how long it typically takes an order to arrive in Western Canada?
