Thinking about getting a M2, I haven't decided if I should wait for the M2 Comp yet but I would consider a current gen at the right price. I read someone was able to get 5200 off in the Toronto area, is that something possible elsewhere? Would this have to be an available car or could it be possible to do a factory order?
6-7% dealer side + $1000 factory credit + Auto Show credit is doable in BC. My buddy got this deal and it is a base M2 manual and being made this month and delivery is expected late May or early Jun.

If you want the M3/4 engine (detuned) and most of the parts bin suspension and so on, then get the M2 CS. It will be more $ and probably 3-4% dealer side discount at best

Looking forward to reviews later this year on how the M2 Competition compares to the current M3/M4.

Definitely one of the more exciting cars that BMW M has put out in recent memory.

That was me. They were only willing to negotiate on in-stock cars so I had to find a dealer with the car I was looking for. I thought about m2c but I realized I would have to pay MSRP and the features were a trade off I would be willing to live with. I always wanted the original M2 so I didn't really care for the m2c ..not a fan of the rims and new grill too

Can you share the specs please - is this a 2018 LCI? And do you mean $5200 off MSRP?

Did they manage to lower/waive all the BS winter mats/vin etching/admin fees as well?

Wait for the M2 Comp. interior is terrible on current M2 and the new M2 has updated engine and bigger brakes etc. Current M2 is overrated.
Besides the seats and cluster, what else is different in the M2C interior? I don't think I would upgrade to the M seats, the car will mostly be daily driven with little track time, would the engine and brakes make that much of a difference?

That sounds like a pretty good deal, I would probably act on something like that unless they inflated the dealer fees, 2 of the dealers I went to were listed around $4700-4800. How much is the BC Auto Show credit?

That is pretty much what I want other than the Adaptive LED so if I could knock 1000 off your price, I would probably take that over paying MSRP and higher fees on a M2C since I'm anticipating that it'll be about 10K more once I get it out the door.

Yea ignore the stupid fees and give your offer. Most likely dealer will play, but I am curious to know if my deal was easier to make because of the 3 day event they had

Also, if you are financing at all. Great time to take advantage of the 1.9% they are offering on the M2. The rate is until end of month, but who knows if they will extend it or not.

you submit an offer to what you think it's fair (excluding those extra bogus fees) regardless. If the dealer has a car in stock to your liking, then put in the offer and see. I think auto show credit was $1000.

Based on 7% - 1000 credit - 1000 Auto Show credit for a LBB, MT, CarPlay, it seems like 63000 + tax would be possible.

There's some private sales event thing happening today that I'm supposed to attend so we'll see if that makes any difference but I still don't know if I can commit to it with the M2C right around the corner, I have first allocation at one dealer.

Off topic, do you still have your S2000? I sold my 05 S2000 GPW with Red/Black interior last year, still miss it.

oh wow, mine is exactly the same. putting it up for sale this weekend. Hoping the M2 does a good job of making me not miss the S2k. lol

I was at my mechanic today doing seasonal tire change and oil change. He mentioned the S55 engine is having mechanical issue with this ... it’s not widespread yet but there are lots more complaints in the last while. It’s not covered by factory warranty

Was not able to walk out with a deal on the M2, they were not able to do a factory order, there were some available at other dealers but had the optional sun roof added on that I did not want.

LBB, 6mt, CarPlay, Sun roof, 67950 + tax.

Guess I'm getting the M2 Comp!
