Demo X3 Premium enhanced, metallic color and leather interior 2300 km since april 4th...

I offered $725 monthly 4 years lease @ $50500 and 48% residual and there is loyalty discount on interest. Dealer wants 770 but likely come settle at 750.

What are your thoughts? Never bought a new car and a non Japanese. This demo is used but there is saving...I think it is worth getting into. What are your thoughts?

I am thinking of getting rid of my 2011 BMW 535i with 75k KMS fully loaded etc.

Beside autotrader and kijiji, is there a faster way of selling it?

Trading it in to a dealership I feel they would low ball me? I dont need another car right now, so would a dealer even buy this if I am not buying a car from them?

MSRP for the described X3 is $56,895.

Assuming $0 down
interest rate is reduced to 3.15%
@$770 per (taxes incl.). Dealer is offering total discount of 8.8% but will be charging $3000 in fees.

IMO, If I were to put in an offer, then I would submit $735 - $740 per (taxes incl.). Do note that if you are leasing for 48 months, then you are exposed to around 2500km and/or 1 month less in factory warranty coverage.

If you are okay with $750 per (taxes incl.), then you are asking around 10.2% discount which IMO is still fair.

If any bmw dealer is to offer you a trade in value of around $18K (low ball would be around $14-15K), assuming yours is loaded with many options, then you should consider in doing it. But different bmw dealers will offer different valuation, so you should really visit as many dealers as possible.

I offered 725 taxes included and minimum due at delivery including reduced deposit of 650 from 800.

Dealer countered at $770 so offered $735 but it was refused and asked that I come half way but I walked.

Now thinking should I have closed deal rather than hoping SA will get back with $745 Grinning Face

In sure I will get 6.5 if not 7 % on new but will have to settle with premium essential and letherett to stick to my already over the budget - budget

If you still want it, then have another go at it at $750 otr. It would be a decent and fair ... just not fantastic

If dealer will not budge at $770, then I don’t feel it’s a good deal. Alternatively, if you want this car and willing to pay at $770, then get the ewt to be thrown in

The purchase is over due, I gave myself a deadline for March end and then changed to end of April as I was not sure to go with CRV, NX, X1, GLC or the X3.

If anything over $735 is not fantastic as you say then I can manage and wait until june Grinning Face

What’s stupid with bmw demo/used is they will refuse to waive the fees, while mb will waive it. That’s $2500 in cost that should have not been charged, hence the reason I suggest $735-740 would be a good offering, imo.

To clarify, the fees that you are referring to is other than freight and PDI?

I dont have separate line items but in general this is what due on delivery..
$399 dealership
$200 all other miscellaneous fees
$600 deposit
$735 1st payment

I was calculating assuming dealer admin fee and other fee would be rolled into the monthly lease payment.

So in other words, dealer is really asking $783 per all incl.

I understand what you are saying now... so it is really the $600 plus taxes that MB will waive? But not sure if they would heavily discount their demos.?

Mb demo will waive $2500 freight/pdi. Dealer admin fee $400 will not waive

As for discount for glc demo, it will depend on how much mileage and how many months into service already. I would think about 7% discount + factory credit + $2500 waived fees is possible

Ok, for this demo there will be no other charges beside admin fees... will this make 745 fantastic in your opinion?

Find one demo (glc300) first and see what options it has. You need to test drive one to ensure it fits your needs and tastes

Would BMW dealers buy my car without buying another from them?
