Looking to finance through the CPO special finance rates going at 0.9/1.9% right now. Do you guys know what credit score will snag that rate?

And if I don't get that rate, will they automatically bump me back to the regular used car rates? At like 4.99% and whatnot? Or can I still take advantage of the special if I don't get 0.9/1.9%? Can I get something like 2.9?

better call to find out more info

Looking at leasing a 18' X3 3.0, 16000km/year, does anyone know about the residual for a 3 or 4 year lease? What kind of a discount I should be aiming for off the MSRP? Thanks
I just negotiated ~6.5% off plus 2% for being a BMW Car Club member for over 12 months, plus an additional $750 xDrive bonus. I think if you are willing to take a car already on the lot you'd get to 7%. As for residuals, you can usually get that info from BMW's website, however the build and price feature has been really flaky lately, especially for the X3. Go to a retailers website and do the build and price there and you should get the info you're after.

many thanks for the video, my issue is @1:12 min. instead of pair, it's asking me a password which I have no clue what's that!

Spent some time test driving and negotiating ‘18 M2 in Long Beach Blue with DCT as the only option.

48 month lease 2.15% with 20K a year = $787 Tax in.

Total due on delivery = $5100

Thoughts? About 7% total?
I'd say do it! However have you driven the manual version of the M2?

I currently have DCT and having driven manual it was such an engaging experience that I really do miss. Not to mention it's $3900 less.

The clutch engagement and the shifting is quite good in the M2!

According to other bimmer forum , you don’t / shouldn't need a password as it’s connected/pairing by Bluetooth

If no dealer can help you, then go to bimmerpost.com forum and ask your question there. I hope someone can give you a better and correct answer. Sorry. I cannot provide further help as I have not owned a bmw for nearly 4 yrs. even if I own a bmw today, I don’t care too much about CarPlay at all.

correction: if it wired it does not ask for password, but it's not connecting, the circle is keep looping!

Have you confirmed with your dealer that your car actually has CarPlay option activated?

Few reasons you may consider using Wireless CarPlay:
  • Audio playback through CarPlay WiFi connection sounds much better than BlueTooth Audio
  • Media streaming; iMessage/WhatsApp integration
  • Apple Maps, despite lack of HUD integration, works better than iDrive navigation. It has more accurate traffic info, and better traffic routing.
iDrive still has the occasional facepalm moments when it would ask me to go to a big detour loop when the destination is right in front of me.
And with the Google Map send destination to car not working (from browser or from BMW Remote App, and it has been for a while), it is much easier to search up all the destinations in Apple Map before hand, and they would be available when I get into the car.
And with the availability of Google Maps and Waze for CarPlay in a few months, CarPlay navigation would get even better.

car has the feature, seems car was not registered until last night, Apple car play showed up on screen as well as WIFI.
my other issue is how to use homelink, I googled it and seems not working, on my other cars I pushed the learning button on the back of the garage doors and within 30 seconds push the button in the car 3-4 times, tried the same here but no success!
