usually the inlet size is a bit smaller ... so, if the outlet is 3 inch as per my remark, the inlet is probably 2.5 inches range

did you measure it yourself ?
was hoping to not take off the tips to measure until i have the carbon tips to replace but i guess i'll do that lol

I guess 4" outlet tips would look nice on a beefy suv .. I had the 3.5" Eisenmann full exhaust and it looked just right.

They have 2 options...first option is 7 years/100,000km for $3,100...second option is 7 years/120,000km for $3,500

I drive around 13-14k a year. So 100k is enough. I personally don’t find the extended warranty worth to buy. But I wanted to get second opinion as it’s my first BMW car. I previously owned a Toyota. I never worried about warranty when I owned Toyota as it was super super cheap to maintain. Thanks.

since it is enough coverage, it would be a peace of mind type of insurance. Also, judging the warranty premium keeps on going up every few years, if you are getting a slight price break now, then maybe it is worth getting it.

If I wanted to take over a lease for a BMW but wanted to trade in a BMW also is there another way to do it except buying it out and trading the car in?

you have any intention to buy out this takeover ? If you do, then you can buy it out right at the inception of the takeover and then use your current car as trade in. You would still have to shop around with different dealers to see who will give you the most trade in value for your current car.

My old toy
That's a beast.

About to retire my e90 335i and e60 550i. Does anyone have experience with the X5 35Ds? Looking to buy a CPO 15-18 model. Opinions?
But at what cost

Engine is great, DEF system is SHIT. If you are keeping it and will go out of warranty, rip out the whole system, locally in GTA it can be done for around $4000 and it's well worth it. Not only do you end up with a reliable car but also more power and better fuel efficiency.

Sales guys don't seem to have this access. Only business managers?

Thanks EP. DEF does ruin everything. Wondering if I should consider lower mileage X5 that just ran out of warranty and rip the whole system out. I would keep it for a while I think.

Yup that’s what I would do if I was going to be keeping it long term.

Once DEF is gone it will be SOLID.

Not sure. I know for the inline 6 it’s around $4k.

Go speak to the business manager. SA does not care and know this sort of thing.

Just run the situation over with him/her and you should get the answer (assuming you do want to buyout the takeover)
