You shouldn't really need more than 1L, I normally only need 500mL and would only go through 1L if I know I've introduced air into the system by opening lines. $90-100 would be pretty normal, that's what I was charged for high performance brake fluid (track use). These days I do it myself with a Motive pressure bleeder since I do it a couple times a year.

I'm looking at a few 2018-2019 models and they seem to be in the $60k ballpark with low kms. Seems like a great bargain so far.
they depreciated a lot so you should be able to get one cheap. Just as fast as the last gen F10 M5.

Anyone know if/when an all-new X1 is expected to be out. The current one feels like it's been out for a long time already. I know they just did a refresh a year or so ago but the competition in the compact "luxury" CUV segment has gotten much better of late with newer offerings from Volvo, Audi, Lexus, Mercedes, etc.

^ still in the testing stage.

Most likely we will see it in Spring 2023 as either MY2023 or MY2024 ?

For 2017, I would imagine the asking price would be $40-45k range.

$33k is asking too high. Fair offer is $30k. It’s 5 model years old.

It’s better to set your upper target budget and see what you can get for it.

Sounds about right. Usually the 3-year leases have residuals of around 50-55% of their original cost, depending on mileage (typically 30,000 - 72,000 km). True resale usually few to several thousand higher, depending on history and condition. Remember to never pay asking price. I was 19 when I made my first purchase from a dealer and made that mistake. Then I wondered why the trade-in value was about $8000 under the amount owing less than a year later.

That's like asking if you expect to spend more than the warranty cost in the next X years. Hard to predict. The dealers would not be selling them if they did not make money on them. On the bright side, they are subsidized by the buyers who think they need them when the odds are against them.

Around 100,000-200,000km is where many of the common wear and tear items need replacing, such as water pump and t-stat, brakes, ignition coils, spark plugs, etc... Suspension components largely depend on how the car was driven. Some will last the life of the vehicle. On the other hand, you have people who will be replacing parts as soon as 50,000km in some cases. I used to have a 335i where the water pump was an odd electronic unit that was $1,200 for the part alone, while on my 328i it was $50. On the other hand I had a M4 cabriolet for years that never needed any work aside from lots of tires and oil changes. That thing went between northern Alberta and Vancouver every winter. The warranty the manufacturer and dealer gave were essentially useless.

No. That’s beyond normal mileage and excess wear on many components. Stay away.

How about this guy in Edmonton? https://www.autotrader.ca/a/bmw/3%20ser ... =4&sprx=-1

60K for an 18 340 MPE, he started @ 62k 4 weeks ago. Joe public would think this a very special car unlike any other.

The 17's in the past few months have come down from high 40's to mid 40's and are still 5-8k too high. 38-40k is about right for one with 40-50kms.
