Boost Mobile has the MOTO G6 Play with 16GB Memory for $79.99 USD with Promo Code FALL2018. I believe this phone can be unlock for around $10.00 USD via remote unlock.

I think this phone is selling in Canada for around $249.99.

Where is $10 unlock? From what I've read so far the Boost Mobile ones aren't easy to unlock
An earlier version of this article incorrectly described a behavior of crows exposed to crow corpses. Live crows only touch, attack and attempt intercourse with crow corpses, they do not scavenge them. (Actual NYT correction)

I was on their site and don't see shipping to Canada. Is this a US exclusive?

They require TeamViewer and remote login to a PC in your own home, it's not real unlock probably replacing radios or something similar.

I have unlocked Samsung phones in the past using this process and have had no issues to date.

Good price, that's for sure.

People on XDA are also looking for a method to sim unlock without luck.

The version sold by Bell the XT1922-9.

Yes, I did the same for my samsungs many moons ago, but didn't have to pay money for it or give strangers unrestricted access to my home network.
Also note that, the "unlock" works only outside US (as advertised).
Looking at the bright side (for those who decide to go this way) at least unlocker is not charging $30 for it like the other ebay listing.

It probably won't work with CDMA carriers in USA (Sprint, Verizon and their MVNOs). The same applies to the Verizon E4 unlock last year. There's no reason why the phones won't work on AT&T or T-Mobile (if they have the frequencies supported by these)

so you are basically allowing a hacker offshore access to your PC and let him run scripts
i was lucky enough i did it once and he flashed the phone and installed a new OS from another providor
if u download the image u can even do it yourself... but takes about half hr
