Why this is being compared to The Avengers, I have no idea.

Also, seems promising with the cast involved, plus the same writer of the previous Bourne flicks, this seems like it should be given a shot.

Ah, so semi-established rising star who has only had a minor cameos in some of the other pre-Avengers movies is having a film all to himself and therefore they are being compared; got it.

With that thinking, why not compare the film with Death to Smoochy (Norton), or Dream House (Weisz) - two crappy films the other supporting leads were in?

He's a great actor and deserves all this big parts. Then there are other actors where you scratch your head and wonder why they're getting all the big opportunities like Joseph Gordon Levitt, Channing Tatum, etc...
