The Box - would you or wouldnt you?
There is a new movie out called The Box. Essentially, you push a button in a box which gives you $1 million dollars but someone who you do not know dies.
The question is ... would you do it?
Despite the fact that I am an ugly, selfish, pathetic (and various other names that I have been called by certain members around here), I just couldnt do it. Not a chance. Not even for $100 million.
What say you, folks? Not about me ... about the question._______________

Is it just me or is 1 million not really that much money any more...When the avg house in Toronto being half a million...its not like having a million will put you on easy street...sure it helps out the average perosn a lot...but when the avg CEO or professional sports play making a few million a year...how is a million worth killing for.

I guess its all relative. If you are a single mom with two kids working at Tim Hortons, $1mil is a crap ton of money. That is definitely easy street for that person.
But, if I put myself in that situation, with our household income as it is, $1m isnt that much money at all.
But is that even the point? What if it was $50mil? Would you do it then?_______________

I'd hammer on that button about 7 billion times until everyone I didn't know was dead, including the person who gave me the box.

I remember seeing a Twilight Zone episode many many years ago with the same premise.

To be interesting, it can't be that linear and straight forward. The person you don't know somehow has a connection to you. Like in a few years he'll be the organ donor that ultimately saves your life.
To answer the question at face value, I think many people would push it. Money trumps many things in this world and in particular, this morally corrupted society.
Is this the movie:

I would probably sell the box for $500,000 to someone else.

Some interesting responses guys. Thank you.
The reason I asked on here was because I was talking with a couple of friends and someone brought it up at random. So, I thought it would be a good off topic / entertainment-y type of thread that would likely not get THAT many bashing flames._______________
