no need to wait for boxing day, better to buy lenses from kijiji or craigslist used
are you looking for a 14mm 2.5 or 20mm 1.7? I'd go with the 20mm over the 25mm, it fits better on GF2, keeps it a smaller package.

I've always been disappointed by Boxing Day sales on higher end dSLRs, lenses, and accessories. Usually it's one or two entry level kits at a good discount and maybe 5-10% on other items.
My wish would be a D7000 body for <$700.

Hoping for any kind of discount on the NEX-6 bundle to perhaps bring the 2 lenses bundle down to 1k instead of its current 1.4k.
But thats a longshot since its only specialty camera stores that has it.

there is an excellent blog about m43 cameras and lens, from the reading there, seems 20mm is kind of slow autofocus under video mode, there is testing video shows losing focus every a couple of seconds, 25mm seems much better, just bigger in size and higher in price

Simons Cameras has Nex-6 w/ the 16-50mm lens on for $875 http://simonscameras.com/viewdetails.asp?item=3840
Lozeau has the new Zeiss 24mm prime lense on for $999
I picked up the 5R from futureshop for $600 last week but i'm tempted to upgrade to the NEX-6 and then pricematch if there are any boxing day deals on the nex-6

Yes but the deal to be had is the 2 kit lens bundle, which inclues the 16-50mm and the 55-200mm lens.
Sony currently has the bundle at $100 off, which isnt quite enough for me.
On the other hand, if anybody has that 200 off 750 coupon, I would use it and buy the bundle.

You can even find brand new lenses for cheaper on ebay, found the Canon 55-250mm lens for 178 on ebay last year around boxing day, a few days after buying a t3i w/ 18-55 at Blacks during their boxing week sale....
The 55-250 was on sale for around 220-250 at all the camera stores
