[Apple] Boxing Day Flyer Highlights to Find and Compare Product Categories Across Flyers!

Flyer highlights for Boxing Day Flyers are back! This is our 3rd year now where our staff has gone through the flyers that are being posted and to the best of our ability (and as time permits) we're trying to highlight the individual items inside of flyers so that you can compare them. This is the quickest way to take a look at all TVs, anything related to Xbox, or cameras across all the flyers. If we've highlighted an item in a flyer, you'll get an indication to "SEE PRODUCT INFO" when you mouse over the item. Click the item and you'll see something like this:

If you click on TVs, you will see every TV from all of the flyers we have posted! Check back as new flyers get added as they'll continue to be added to the highlights page for each type.

The system is actually very manual, so there's lot of people spending time tagging the flyers and with that in mind, we haven't been able to highlight every item in every flyer. We've focused on the most popular and comparable Boxing Week items including appliances, video games, computers, and electronics - and there's definitely more items tagged than last year.

Here are some of the popular categories: Hopefully our high resolution flyers and highlighting system have made it easier for you to smartly spend your money this Boxing Day!

Great job Derek. This is really helpful.

is there a way to display/sort the info in a table format? and allow for sorting by each of the columns?

at the moment it looks like everything is being sorted by store (once a tag is selected) (http://boxingday.redflagdeals.com/index ... 22/?id=112) but it would be interesting to see the products sorted by price, brand, etc

if this is already available and im missing it please let me know.

i think RFD has grown to the point, especially with the majority of the stores being sponsors, that it wouldnt be unreasonable to request from them the item details in a format that will allow you to highlight their data more effectively like this. tell them you need a csv if they want to be featured in this tool youre providing us.

cheers!
