Boxing day, after a series of appeals, still begins at 12:00pm as per Winnipeg's labor regulations. Yes, this means that people camping out overnight at Futureshop with their welfare checks to get in on a doorcrasher will have to wait an extra 6 hours this year. This also means almost everyone will be up and out by opening.
Do you have any idea what kind of crowd will be in the parking lot of the FS and BB stripmall near Polo? I'm thinking HUGE.
This will be INSANITY at the malls and all stores, since theres no such thing as early birds anymore. I can't wait to see what happens!

Boxing Day in Man
This just hit me, what happends in Manitoba in regards to boxing day shopping? Boxing day falls on a Sunday, so is the sunday shopping rule disregarded on the 26th, or do you simply cut down the hours of boxing day shopping?
