Boxing Day sales vs Black Friday

Do Boxing Day sales typically have bigger discounts than Black Friday (or CyberMonday)...given it's even closer to year end?

I'd say without hesitation that, overall in the last 5 years, Black Friday has outperformed Boxing day in most of the common "high traffic" purchasing areas like Electronics and Appliances. As for other areas like furniture etc. I can't be sure because I haven't been following them.

its all just a gimmick now. there inst anything spectacularly discounted anymore, they are just the weekly sales discount with a fancy name

I'd say it's a tie, they both lose.

Slimmer pickings for sure.
The GAP and Banana Republic already had 50% off on the Black Friday weekend. I recall it was 50% off on Boxing day before, do they offer higher discount in Boxing day now?
