Boxing day TV thread

Black Friday was disappointing (as expected), i'm sure many of you like myself are looking to pick up a tv this boxing day. I'm looking for a 40-46" Samsung or Sony LED 1080p 120z preferred

I'm looking for a 42" lcd (brand name: Samsung, Sony, etc.), for less than $400. Already seeing 40" TVs in this range from Haeir and even Toshiba so hoping this won't be too difficult.

40" or 32" 1080p less than $450. But it seems there are not many choices.

On Cyber Monday, I bought a TV from Sears.ca and they didn't charge me the EcoFee, while they were charging it at TheSource, BB and FS (same TV). Saved $42.50 +tax. If you see a TV that is on sale at a few locations, consider checking out at Sears.ca, you might be lucky too (plus 2% cash-back at GCR).

It is not worth getting irritated, it is not worth it.... Wish everyone happiness, and you yourself will be happy.

Amazon.ca doesn't charge that thievery either.

Looking for a 60"+ 3D plasma/LED TV.
I wouldn't expect any high-end models to go on crazy sale. Stores generally try to unload all lower-end models. We bought our TV in early December a couple of years ago. A salesperson at the store gave us a really good deal, and mentioned that our high-end model will not go on sale anyway. Checked boxing day flyer that year, and what the guy said was true. So if someone is looking at higher-end TV - i.e. Panasonic VT/GT, Sony NX, etc - then might as well go to the stores now and negotiate with them to avoid disappointment and crazy line-ups.
