I am looking for a reasonably priced alternative to the ($250 shipped) skywalker-1 as well. The cw3k is very close but as far as I know nobody did the mod to make it work in windows.

It sux that a tuner costs more than a whole satellite receiver that has a case, renderer, and software included for $200.
