Take STAB22 (Stats 1).

Unless, your dumb and lazy you wont get an impressive mark. Almost everyone got a high grade when i took it.

The statistics course designed for sociology is suppose to be easier.

Symbolic logic is useful, but the Logician at UTSC that normally teaches the course might be hard if you aren't familiar with math.

I think there is some quantitative analysis course for political science students.

Alternatively, I believe that PSYA01 or PSYB01 counts as a quantitative breadth; however, I'm not sure which one it is. One of them is quantitative, the other is social-behavioural; neither is a fraction of the depth of quantitative analysis covered in chapter 1 in STAB22.
