an elderly person pushing/pulling a cart at a grocery store because you start to think why isn't there any sons or daughters or family members to help out. I just came from a No Frills where an elderly man was buying two bags of rice; he could have been late 70's or 80's and didn't understand a word of English when the cashier said she needed to scan the bag. Nobody even bothered to help the man until I looked from a few queues back and noticed the reason for the delay and just walked up and helped him.
Yeah, anyway. Back to our selfish ways.

Yeah that's plausible but why didn't anyone help the man out who was obviously facing a language barrier. Damn, I want to say shame on you people who just stand there pretending you don't see him or something.LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked Emancipated for this post.

My 78 year FIL won't let us....he is as stubborn as a mule and would rather slow others down than to admit he needs our help.
Trust me I am a SAHM and have often attempted to do it for them.
But bless your heart for helping!_______________LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked 3weddings for this post.

This is a great public service you are providing by coming on here and letting us know what scumbags we all are. Thank you for that. I'm now ashamed of myself, due to my selfish ways.
I vow to change my ways, and get a new lease on life.LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked YYZFA for this post.
