The Brick-LCD/Plasma TV Stand $200 Reg $400 YMMV
Hey Guys,
For all of you that picked up a TV larger than 42" this season and don't want to mount it, I think I found a good deal on a stand, but YMMV. I went into my local Brick store yesterday just wandering, and came across this stand:

The Black one is Reg 399.99 but it had been marked down to $200. I thought for a solid stand for this price that it was a pretty good deal. They also have the silver which on the site shows for $198, but I was told it was phantom stock.

Newbie
My girlfriend and I ended up at the Brick on the 27th looking for a stand for our new plasma. We found this same unit as you indicated for half price of its regular price, the black one. It was the best pick of all the stands we saw that day within our price range.
It was not too bad to put together and looks nice. Happy with it.

No kiddin! I went to the Brick and several other stores before finding the great deal Sears.ca had. Picked one up before Christmas to hold my 42" LCD, and it's a hundred times better than those high priced, high margin peices of crap they have at any of those furniture stores, or electronic stores! Great quality, and guaranteed you won't be dissappointed, and no, I don't work for Sears, but know a good deal when I see it. It's such a great deal that it's temp sold out right now... http://www.sears.ca/gp/product/B000X...earsBrand=core

Yeah, I took a look at that one, its just not as heavy duty as the other one, and I don't want to take a chance with my new 52" Samsung

I bought this one from Visions to hold a 52" lcd. The frosted glass helps to hide the wires and the piano black finished wood matches the piano black of my tv. The middle silver parts of the stand matches the silver components I have hooked up tot the tv. Regular price Is $400 and I paid $200 for it at the beginning of December. I looked everywhere including The Brick for the stand and Visions gaved me the best price so I bought it on the spot
