I would tend to agree that honoring 1 unit would be appropriate.

that I would agree is a fair deal.

should be all anybody is buying for personal use 99% of the time anyway. the only ppl that deal would 'screw over' are the ones looking to profit by reselling them. of course, at this point there's still going to be a lot of upset ppl as they've either already given up and bought from somebody else, or they've been waiting in doubt for a week. in situations like this, time is everything. I would have been satisfied(hypothetically since I never bought anything) having my order cancelled an hour after I placed it, then finding out they will honour it 10days after I placed the order, and was told for 8 of those days it would not be honoured. it's just that time of year. when there's 10 other options to buy the tv for cheap, it's more of a big deal if they prevent you from using those other options.
