Budget Camera For Food Videography

Hi

I plan to start a Youtube channel creating recipe videos shooting in an overhead style. I need a camera, tripod, and lighting to shoot in an area with poor light conditions. A 4K camera is preferred.

What's are my options? Thanks!

Sony a6500 or a6300 or a6000 if you're on a tight budget.

Is mirrorless where it's at these days?

Well I chose the Sony for you because you specified video and the a series has very good active video tracking.

Another alternative for video would be a Blackmagic Pocket, but not sure if I'd pick that over the Sony.

If you're looking for a larger body, the Panasonic GH4 is a classic for video.
