Budget prepaid android phone under $200

Can anyone recommend a reliable prepaid android phone for under $200? I bought the Moto G6 Play at Costco and it kept crashing when run some apps. I exchanged for another one and the new one had the same problems. Thanks.

For under $200 you're asking for a lot of compromises and you're pretty much going to get the same experience as you are getting now. I suggest upping your budget and consider a Xiaomi Mi A2 or Mi A2 Lite.

Don't get a mi a2. Mine died randomly after 2 months. There's a thread on XDA too, many other people reporting phone stops charging and dieing 2-3 months after

Bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 from AliExpress back in August for $220. Since then the Redmi Note 6 and 7 have been released, so I'd imagine it would be under $200 by now. Absolutely love the phone and cannot believe a phone that cost me around 200 bucks is this good. 4gb RAM, 64gb storage with a micro SD slot so you can expand to 256gb of storage, great camera, and a massive 4000mah battery. At the end of my day, I go to bed and plug in my phone and it still has between 60-75% battery left. Incredible value. I recommend heading over to https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/ if you're looking for a budget phone

If you go for a note 5. Make sure you get the one listed as Global Version, NOT Global ROM. You'll need the global version for it to work with cell providers in Canada.
