I've been to buffet Yang Ming a couple of times and I really don't like it for the simple fact that they hardly have any vegetable-only dishes, not that I'm a vegetarian, but it would be nice. They do have crab legs though but I think they recently put a restriction on them.

I've been going to the Royal Buffet at Bank & Hunt Club for many years and never really had a complaint, however when I went there last Sunday evening, the selection was poor, the food wasn't being 'refreshed', and I noticed that one of the chicken wings still had feathers!
Let's just say I lost my appetite and won't be returning to Royal Buffet.
Just a little further south on Bank (near the VW dealership), Kam Fung has a decent buffet and has a "frequent customer card" that you can get stamped everytime you go and leads to free lunch/supper buffets, chinese bowls, etc.
For seafood lovers, I think the buffet place at the Emerald Plaza on Merivale is the most popular. At least all my sushi and crab leg fanatical friends always want to go there when heading out for a buffet. It's also the only place I've seen that offers wasabi which comes in handy in clearing up the sinuses.
Minus: it's more expensive than most other chinese buffets
Dubarrys in Vanier is okay. It looks like they have the widest selection plus they've got a Mongolian grill.
Tucker's Marketplace has good quality food but I found their selection fairly sparse for the main course and they seemed to be reluctant to carve a larger slice of turkey/ham. But the deserts were delicious!
The buffet place in the Casino du Lac Leamy is very small and IMHO very over rated (at least the lunch buffet is as I haven't tried the dinner buffet). The selection is very small and it's expensive. Service wasn't that great either... maybe that was because the tip was already included in the price.
If you're looking for a great Sunday brunch, I would have to recommend JR's Family Restaurant in Almonte (just west of Ottawa). A little pricey but the food is really hearty!

There's also Banc Sushi on Montreal Road in Vanier. Doesn't look like much at all from the outside, but inside, it's just as good as any of the above, lots of selection. The weekend lunch is a bit more than the "standard" price ($14.99 instead of $12.99) but for that price you get limited amounts of sashimi and other items which are "dinner only" at most places.

I went to the dragon buffet in a Gatineau and they never asked for ID.
There's also a great buffet called continents near the dragon buffet it's huge and the atmosphere is amazing problem is that there's a lot of people but the food is great and is cheap around $12 for their lunch.
I also think there's a vegetarian buffet called The Table (plz correct me if i'm wrong) on 1230 wellington, I've never went there so I don't know what's like just heard of it.

The Table is not a buffet,
you go get as much food as you want and you pay by the weight.
food is kind of expensive there, but good.
-----------------
Green Door- another veggie buffet, same thing u get your food and pay by the weight.
Cathay on Albert st has a weekday lunch buffet.
haven't gone in a few years, but always see people eating there.
It is more "fake" chinese food, but the garlic spare ribs are good, chicken fried rice is good.
the lunch buffet is pretty small.
For Indian Haveli buffet is good.
Caveau Szechwan? is also good, but have not been there in years._______________
