How does one learn about Sap, Cognos type careers? What schools offers it

i dont think any school offers programs that specifically deal with how to use these various tools. However, a background in business analysis/administration, Comp Sci, IT, engineering, strategic management will help in analyzing the data that is outputted by these products.

Cognos, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, etc all offer certification.
Otherwise, there are IS/MIS degrees out there too (I think AthabascaU.ca has one) or even standard business courses would help too.
