I first noticed this promotion about a month ago and bought six cans (I have 4 month old twins and go through two cans a week). Since then I have searched many stores, and the number of cans left is dwindling. I just cleared out a couple of walmarts -one had 2 cans left, the other 5. If you are interested in this promotion you better jump on it. I did see several cans that had the coupons already ripped off - very classy move to steal from the parents of babies. Shame on anyone who would do that.
At Blockbuster, you can redeem the coupons for two new release rentals (including the newest 2-day rentals) plus a package of micro popcorn. This is worth roughly $13, and very well suited to parents of newborns who don't have much chance to go out and see a movie. You can redeem more than one of these coupons at a time, and the clerk always comments to me about how good of a deal it is (free - can't get much better).

How much does a can typically go for? It might be a good idea to donate the formula to your local foodbank.

We use the Omega 3/6 stuff. Brain food!
However, absolutely everywhere I checked (about 5 different grocery stores, Shoppers, etc etc), the cost per mixed unit of formula was always MORE when using the powdered versus a case of concentrate.
Given how quickly we seem to use formula (our 3 month old didn't take to nursing), we've saved a not insignificant amount by going with the concentrate versus the powder. We even called Nestle to confirm that pricing because it seemed odd to us, and they did confirm - for the Omega 3/6, powdered costs more per unit of mixed formula.

This offer does not apply to Follow Up or Good Start 2 (with Omega 3). Those for 6-18 months baby.
The free DVD movie rental offer expires on Oct 31, 2007.
