buying oakleys off ebay, shipped from USA
i got a question about NAFTA
oakleys are made in usa...
will i need to pay for duties and taxes when it gets shipped over the border?
will NAFTA protect me from paying?_______________

Oakleys + eBay = Smokleys/Foakleys
Got burnt 2 years ago. Oakely busted the seller for selling fake sunglasses.
Turns out the seller inflated their own rating using fake profiles.

On a side note (sorry it wasn't in the last post), when i purchased my oakleys, there was a $75 boarder fee for inspection plus taxes.

To avoid those worries,,,,,, ship your stuff to Can Am mail boxes in Niagara falls,,, they will accpet the package and you pick it up from them and pay them a small fee for one time use, or you rent a mail box by the month, 3months, 6 months, or 1yr. It is the best way to get stuff into Canada duty free.

320 taxes in, was the cheapest price i got.... i'd probably be able to talk them down to 300
it's usually 350+tax_______________

That's a toss up man...
it works out to be about 20 bucks more (canadian dollars) if you include the shipping, the paypal fees and the boarder charges.
And you're not even sure they are real..
Listen, i got burnt.... it sucks. For a difference of 20 bucks, get them at the dealer... forget ebay.

Try http://www.lenslink.com/ and don't forget your (15% off with Visa coupon)
They're located in Richmond Hill and have free shipping if paying with Visa. Only thing is they only have the black Why 8.2's on their site ($201.95, and you can always e-mail and ask if they're getting the brown/bronze ones).

Yah, the prices at Lenslink (with the VISA coupon) as practically as good as any legitimate sounding USA ebay seller. No duties to worry about.
For instance, I got the Why 8.0's for $187 including PST/GST (regular price here: $245+15%=281)

Sorry to hijack the thread a little... but does anyone know the difference between the Why 3 compared to Why 8.0, 8.1 or 8.2? They seem almost exactly identical, but the Why 3 is typically priced $200 more.
