Buying a Sony VAIO ... Besybuy or Sony Store?

With Apple products, it's pretty much a lock that you buy them from the Apple store because of the superior service ... How about Sony?

Unlike Apple, Sony does not do any kind of repair or troubleshooting in stores. No difference between Best Buy and Sony Store, except perhaps one might have a sale or something when the other one does not.

BestBuy would probably be better for price matching (both during and after purchase) and you can earn BB Reward points.

Well said - and that's probably why the Sony stock is at 30 year low now. Sony and HP - racing to the bottom, eh ? I have no experience with either company's laptops, but hopefully Sony stuff is made better than HP ? No ?
