Buying an unlocked iPhone 5 in the US

Hi,

I'd like to buy an unlocked iphone 5 in the US as it's $50 cheaper, and I can save on sales tax as I'll be buying one in a salex tax free state. Total savings will be more than $100.

So, if I buy one which is compatible with AT&T, it's 100% compatible with Fido/Rogers, isn't it?

Looking at an Apple's webpage, http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/, it looks it is, but I want to double check.
