Buying A Vehicle Through An Auction w/ A Lien On it

Hi Guys

I need a little advice.

I bought a vehicle through an auction just over two weeks ago. After payment i got the details there is a lien on the vehicle. Auctioneer tells me they will get the lien discharged and it may take some time and I can take the vehicle. They did say if they don't get the lien discharged I will get a refund, however if i take the vehicle - no refund.

I opted to leave the vehicle with them until they discharge the lien, as I do want my money back if that doesn't happen. I called them a few times and were told they've sent the info to the bank, and the bank has 2 weeks to respond .. That two weeks expired last Friday.

Does anyone have experience with this? At what point am I entitled to get my money back? RIght now they have the money, the car with a lien that hasn't been discharged.

Appreciate your feedback!

If you want your money back now then ask them, see what they say.

Do you want a refund now, or do you want to push for the car? In any case, talk to them and tell them what you want. And go from there.
