Is it typically a bad idea to go on the first day of CIAS? I'd love to go on the 16th, I've got a day off from all responsibility, but I'm worried about overcrowding. It's always really busy, and I'm not sure what it's like on day 1. Any insight?

I think the GO Transit tickets will end up being abused for unlimited GO transit rides while the Auto Show is running.... how does GO know which day you're going to the auto show?
They obviously can not check

I've found the best time to go is around 6pm to close during the week. Weekends and Family Day is a complete zoo. Friday during the day will be busy but should be manageable.

I'll be working all 10 days at the Plug & Drive EV ride & drive alternating between the MTCC south & north buildings. Basically the public will be allowed to register and take free test drives of the 13 EV's we'll have there to experience them. No sales people, mostly EV owners staffing the booths. No Tesla's.......but lots of very affordable EV's to drive like the 2018 Leaf, Bolt, Volt, Pacifica Hybrid, Outlander PHEV, Fusion Energi, etc. Lineups will likely be VERY LONG to test drive the '18 Leaf & Outlander PHEV being that they're brand new vehicles on the market.
would Prius Prime there too? thinking of testing this one.
Good luck!

Seriously, are you sure? For me, I think the best way to get to the show all 10 days is to take the Go train from Kitchener, will I be able to get away with only buying 1 ticket?

If I was to drive, I would need to get parking near the MTCC with a charger so I could drive home once the Leaf is charged up. Not too many public chargers near the show and always the worry that there will be other EV owners using them or be blocked by ICE vehicles - always best to have a backup plan. Parking is stupid expensive anyways, that's why the Go/Autoshow ticket combo is great.

They can check if you have the hand stamp they give you when you go into the show. AFAIK they always give you a stamp on your hand when you go to the Autoshow.

Signed up for Kona email updates a few months back, Hyundai is sending out two free tickets... Not sure if they will send out if you sign up today, but worth a try.

They sent me two tickets last year for Ioniq.

How do you know they won't mark your actual GO pass that you print off?
Koodo 6GB $542.40/year + $406.80 iPhone 6 - $50 referred credit - $300 referral credits - $225 Wal-Mart GC - $360 Kijiji iPhone sale = $14.20 mobile service for one year

No clue.

Somebody who goes and benefits from using the GO pass can find out.
