Anyone know what the pre show ticket is for? I can't seem to find any details about it.

i'll never understand the appeal of this. I can walk into a showroom for free, with free parking and no chaos. Additionally, if I really like the car, i can test drive it.

Why don't you just not comment if this deal isn't for you?

Thanks OP. Was looking to buy tickets.

If your time is of no value to you, sure. You can go to every single manufacturer's dealers to see all their new models. This makes it easy to stay up to date on new models and it only takes a few hours a year.

All(most) manufacturers at one place, get to see concepts, show, freebies, additional car discounts, good time, etc.

I wouldn't go every year, but once every few years its a decent show for $14 tax in.

I'm currently on the Go train headed to the show, going to be working with Plug 'n Drive providing test drives of 13 EVs to the public (both the north and south ends of the MTCC). Should be an interesting 10 days.

Hey IntrepidRT, I was interested in doing a test drive (never driven an EV before). Do I just walk into a booth or something to sign up for it? Or is this something we can sign up in advance for?
