Thanks OP. I purchased this for my vehicle last year from your original thread. Amazing dashcam.
Have you purchased any electronics from this vendor ? I would like to purchase a dashcam as a gift.
Thanks

Question to people know about Dashcams
1. Is this the first gen dashcam? Do we have a second generation?

3. OP posted a wifi camera and that too English version?

This is their first gen, but their 2nd gen isn't as good.
It can be flashed to English

Wizard1: How would you compare the KKmoon dash cam to the Xiaoyi dash cam? The price of $25.72 and $29.01 for the 2 models of KKmoon makes me wonder if they're a better bang for your buck.

the Xiaoyi one is much better. Better resolution, better app, Wifi Built in, regular updates to app and firmware

I'm interested in this, and was trying to pay for it. But the discount doesn't stick when you check out via Paypal.

Ordered one. Thanks Wizard1. I have been very happy with Xiaomi stuff so far!

I sold my pickup and bought a used small BMW. I am surprised how often I now get cut off. I have had some close calls and think this might help me.

ya, I have 2 of these in my cars for more than a year now. They have worked reliably so far, through winter and summer.
Give you the peace of mind that it always works. I haven't really ever looked at the footage for video quality, I use it mainly as a safeguard for at-fault/not-at-fault accidents.

I bought this from the last thread and got slapped with a $51 customs fee...
Is there anyway to somehow return this? I have not picked it up because of the $51 fee

Solid price!! This is a must get car DVR. I own one and works incredibly well. The Yi App on the phone connects seamlessly to the camera via wifi and you can instantly download the video to your phone in both HD and SD. This is literally plug and play right out of the box. I recommend the 64gb card so that you can record in 1080p 30fps and gets me roughly 3-4 days of recording.
