I went to this place years ago and their panzorotti taste like a pizza pocket and to boot was frozen inside. So many better places to select for valentines on college, unless you want to tell your loved one you want to seperate. Then this would be perfect.

I've been lucky enough to have met someone who also thinks Valentines Day is a commercial scam.

never got the panz here, but thanks for the warning!

i'm semi-addicted to the pizza here, not sure why. friends from Argentina say it's the closest they've had to pizza from home, in Toronto

To counter this I think Cafe Diplomatico has long been a nice place for some pizza. Fact is they are able to keep up a 4.1 google score with 1000+ reviews.

Also no where does it say this is a valentines ONLY special. Whole month.

It could of been a miss, however cafe dip has changed owners numerous times. Also people might not now how things should tast. Go down on clifton to botondos. Get a ponz or veal for 1/3 the price and enjoy. Might not be so flashy however it keeps a nostalgic feel from 30 yesrs back.

Sad to hear about the panz there, they used to make the best panzos back in the day. We used to order two at a time sometimes, they were so good. We're talking 15-20 years ago, it's been a few years since I've been now.

Dessert is not only a pastry but a "mini" pastry, and also shared!

Without paying for any of the upgrades, the best bang for your buck is:

$14 – Antipasto Misto
$30 – Chicken Parmigiana (x2)
$5.50 – Creme Brûlée
$4.20 – Espresso (x2)
= $53.70
$19 – beer or wine
= $72.70, for a savings of $23.70

So you're essentially getting a pitcher of no-name lager or a half litre no-name wine for free.

BTW, the worst combo you could get would be:
$8 – Bruschetta
$24 – Personal Pizza (x2)
$3 – New Bomba
$3 – Coffee/Tea (x2)
= $38
$19 – wine or beer
= $57, for a minimal savings of $8

So you're almost getting a pitcher of no-name lager or a half litre no-name wine for free.

This is the sort of analysis that makes RFD great.

In summary, there is not much saving.

$53.70 + $19 = $72.70 - not $62.70.
